ABOUT

the pattern: decide what should get measured, then build the thing that measures it

Second year at Waterloo,
headed toward quantitative work.

FIG. 02 — THE SUBJECT.

So far, the path has looked like this: I designed a player development platform for the soccer academy where I coached. I co-founded a small staffing venture and automated its outreach. I do business development for 180 Degrees Consulting, turning early client conversations into scoped, documented engagements.

Different rooms, same instinct. Improvement you can't see might as well not exist, so I keep building ways to see it.

Player Development Platform

Players at the academy where I coached were improving week over week — but parents couldn't see it. So I pitched the owner a platform that tracks how a player actually grows, then designed and built it end to end.

  • Six technical categories plus physical, mental, and tactical pillars
  • Hard testing numbers combined with coaches' qualitative reads
  • Live now — coaches are completing the first baseline assessments

AI Lead-Generation Agent

Finds staffing clients in Kitchener-Waterloo, identifies decision-makers, organizes every lead into one tracked dataset, and drafts the outreach. Nothing sends without a human approving it first. Controls before speed.

OFF THE CLOCK

where the measuring habit comes from

Soccer

Ten-plus years of competitive soccer: BVB Waterloo U18, Empire SC, and Olympiacos Academy. StateCup finalist in 2022, WCSAA league winners in 2025. It's also where the player development platform in my projects came from — and it's still how I think about improvement: measure, adjust, repeat.
